:help: Questions about Nuclear Stress Test

Dr Overcash wants me to have a nuclear stress test. Have any of you had this and what does it entail? I am worried because I cant walk for more than 5-10 min before my back and knees are killing me. If I have to get on a treadmill, I dont know how much they can determine since I'll be a big baby whining about my back LOL Any of you all been thru similar tests and have any siggestions for me? My test is scheduled next week, also was this covered by your insurance, if not, what was the cost of the testing?

I have had this done and it is no big deal, you do have to get on a treadmill and have an IV, but you only go as long and as far as you can tolerate, they will slow and stop the machine when you say enough. It was and is covered by most ins companies, but call them and make sure so that you dont end up with a big bill. Stephanie
