INSURANCE QUESTION ( CIGNA )

I was told that cigna no longer covered wls in the state of Florida as of 1-1-04. Have anyone been told any different? I am so upset after getting all evals done. And I am ready to see the surgeon in March.

Good news! It is covered up till your renewal date in 2004. I thought that too at first when I read it. So was so upset about it. But then I called like five times to make sure it was covered. And was told that when your groups renewal date comes in 2004 it will no longer be covered. I would call back and talk with a supervisor if I was you. Get names too. That may help.

Even if they say the arent going to cover it make sure that you guys fight them til the end--I have a feeling that this is going to change soon. Stephanie
