Well, like so many others, I have spent months trying to get everything in order for my paperwork to be sent into Blue Cross/Health Options and today I was denied. Patrice @ Dr. Overcash's office explained that I was denied because I do not have 6 months of history with my PCP and that they are looking for a weight from 5 years ago. I told her it was ALOT but I guess they are looking for something more specific. Two questions... Is there anyway to fight the 6 month wait, and can my insurance Co, tell me my info from 5 years ago.. I have moved alot and honestly don't know who my PCP was.. sad I know. Anyways.. any help would be greatly appreciated!! David

Hello: I don't know of anything around that. However, I heard that bcbs likes to use stall tactics. Just a fyi, the insurance contact at my doctors office stated at a support meeting that bcbs hmo or ppo will not be doing the surgerys after November. Stay on their butt. Good luck.
