pre op tests

Could anyone tell me what pre operation test I need before surgery? I am trying to speed up my surgery date. thanx

Hello Bre, Depending of the request of your surgeon you will need the following test within 30 days of surgery: Full Blood Pannel including H Pylori, LCDS and and occult blood stool samples( Quest Center in Orlando), Chest X-rays, Full pullminary Function test, Cardiologist(stress test, EKG, (Orlando Heart Center, Gore Street)Echocardiogram are most important. I had all of these done before approval but had to do them all over again after approval. i just finished. Surgery is next thursday. I hope this helps.

Bre, in addition to the previous poster's list ...I also had to have a gall bladder ultrasound and of course the psych eval. Good luck!

they'll want to do a pregnancy test if you're a female, blood clotting test, iron levels, etc.
