Highlight Hair?

Can I highlight my hair 4 days prior to surgery? Also, does anyone get tan after surgery? Please advise! Thank you.

Hi Diane- I don't see any reason why you can't do it....you won't even have any hair loss for 3 months. I plan on coloring mine right before surgery so that I can avoid "roots" and gray as long as possible!!!!! They say that those who eat protein most lose the least hair!!!! Hope that helps! Thank you very much! I am going in tomorrow for the works! I have heard about the hair loss. I am willing myself into keeping my hair!!!!! I drink 2 40g protein drinks per day, as well as I have a vitamin regimine that I will keep up to the night before surgery, which is this Monday. Thank you for your speedy reply. Happy Trails! Diane

Hi Diane, I highlighted my hair after surgery and cut it short too. I knew that I would have some hair loss, so I wanted my hair to have some "spring" in it. Everyone has some hair loss. I did the protein religiously everyday and still had a good bit... but I have thick hair so that helped too. Good luck!!! And if you have any questions or need any help...just let me know..
