insurance question

I am having trouble getting insurance now 1 year post op, I was told you must be 2 years post-op any surgery to get insurance? Even though I am 120lbs less, and a whole lot healthier, they said it didn't matter--any one have any ideas? Thanks Keli 10/28/02 324/204

are you trying to get your own insurance or is it through an employer? If you are trying to be self-insured you are going to have a very tough time, and *IF* you can get insured, it is going to cost you a pretty penny. Thank god for group plans.
