HAVING BM ISSUES - POSTOP 13 DAYS

I am know on Full Liquids - protein drinks too. Having problems with BMs - hard to push through system. Has anyone had simular issues or is this something I should talk to doctor @ on 9/4/03 (Check-up appt)?

Anita: Call your surgeon and see what they say. They will probably suggest a light medication. Your surgery is so recent I wouldn't take any chances. Joe in Clearwater

Anita - I agree with Joe. You should call it in. I am not having trouble in this department at all and I am only day 8 post op. It too****il day 3 post op to have anything, but things appear to be normal now. Also, I had half of my staples out this morning and I honestly did not feel it - I watched her remove them and they don't pull on them or anything... there is a tiny little tool that bends the staples, and just by the bending they are removed from your skin. Don't worry about it. Take care!
