Seeking info about previous surgeries (18years a partial gastroplasty)

I am curious if anyone has previously had the surgery and it didnt last or work and may be or has had the bypass surgery recently?

Hi Sherry, I had previous surgery in nineteen eighty two, in fact I had it done twice, two gastroplasties, where they simply staple your stomach. Neither of these worked for me and I never lost a pound. I had bypass surgery on July eighth and have lost over forty pounds so far, doing okay, had multiple complications, but am over the worst part.
