HELP w/ follow-up

Hi, I don't have good insurance, so I'm having my lap-band surgery done in Mexico in early August. I'm really worried about finding a doctor who can do follow-up procedures. I live in Boynton Beach (1/2 hour south of West Palm Beach). Can anyone give me some advice? I'm REALLY worried about this... Thanks, Kim

Kim, Try Dr. Liem in West Palm Beach. I don't know if he takes patients who have had the surgery elsewhere, but it's worth a phone call. Lots of luck in Mexico! Elizabeth

U.S. Bariatrics will follow you, but it may cost a program fee. Drs. Marema and Perez are the two I am familiar with there.

wow i dont even know where to tell u to look for that but I would think that one of the local docs who do the surgery would be able to help. OR contact the doc. who u are havin do the surgery to see if they already have docs lined up to work with them. Best Wishes to you...Linda
