insurance problems

hi i have been trying to get approved for surgery but it is impossible. i have been denied ,so i appealed and that was denied also. i need to know if anyone has (ccn plumbers and pipefitters local union 630 in florida ).they are a self-funded company i don't know if i should hire a lawyer or look for other insurance. if anyone has info on insurance or a good lawyer please pass it on .thank you cathy

Cathy don't give up! I had to appeal twice before my insurance (Aetna) would approve. Get mad and fight with all you got. If they deny you again, then maybe you need to seek leagal counsel. Just hang in there and get madder and madder. I'll add your name to my prayer list....Brenda in Apopka
