Your best bet is to just call your policy holder and ask them as some do and some don't. It all comes down to what;s included in your personal policy.

My husand's new insurance will be Florida BCBS premium plan through WastePro of Fort Myers Florida which appears to be a very good plan. I called them and they said as of 2-years ago they have excluded all bariatric coverage. On the other hand, Florida State employees Florida BCBS is covering bariatric surgery. I believe the companies opt out on the coverage. But Please don't give up cause God can do wonderful things and it could happen for you. This is just what I have been told and maybe your company is different. Good luck.
