My out of pocket was somewhere around $700-$800...

I was approved pretty quickly. About a month i think it was.. Took me almost a year to finally get it done though.

I had to pay $1500 out of pocket..but that covers nutritional counseling, psychiatric counseling, educational sessions, support groups and all sorts of activities.  It's nice have the program there for accountability and I'm glad I went that route despite the extra expense.

They would have had me in surgery within a month if my insurance didn't require a 6 month supervised doctor visit.  May 11 was the last date of my supervised diet..and I'm now scheduled for surgery on July 7 (and could have even done it 2 weeks sooner if it wasn't for my own schedule!)
