Hello.. Does anyone know of good plastic surgeons in Florida to use for TT and breast lift/implants?  Specifically for patients that have had massive weight loss????

Trishy-
I used Paul Albear in Tampa and he is great.  He has a lot of experience with post-bariatric patients.  http://www.albearplasticsurgery.com/index.cfm

Oh, and I should add that Dr. Albear does try to get you insurance approval if you have insurance that will cover plastics. He even takes Tricare!

Trishy, dont know if you can make it, but at the Dr. Jawad Orlando support group there will be a Plastic Surgeon from Ocala (One of Dr Jawad's friends) speaking. There are also a number of people who have used a surgeon in Kissimmee, don't know the name, but there are enough in the group that use him that will have his information. The next meeting is May 17.

Hi Trishy

I am 9 years post op and I used Dr. Bernard Shuster for all my plastics including lower body lift, breast, face and thighs. His office is in Hollywood, Fl. Check out his reviews on the OH site or go to his website www.drshuster.net and see pictures. He even does an online consult for out of town patients. It really is worth the trip to meet with him. He is a one of a kind doctor. Amazingly skilled, caring, compassionate and real.

Best of luck to you,

Paula

Trishy-
I also wanted to tell you that you can check the state licensing record for any physician or surgeon you are considering on the State of Florida website.  http://ww2.doh.state.fl.us/IRM00profiling/searchform.asp  On that site you can get the docs license number and then you can check for lawsuits and such at:  http://www.fldfs.com/Data/Liability/index.htm

You can also check for board certification at:  https://www.abplsurg.org/ModDefault.aspx

In the state of Florida any medical doctor can call themselves a plastic surgeon so I think it is good to check for board certification.  Of course,  that in and of itself does not guarantee a good surgeon, but I think it is a good place to start.

This is great info Red!  Gives me a good starting place for sure!!! I still have some to lose and I want to try and tone up as much as I can before I get some plastics but I thought it would be great to start my research at this point.  Gives me something additional to strive toward..

Hi!
Not sure what part of FL you are in but I used Dr. Joshua Kreithen for my Brachioplasty (arm lift)...I have not had any work on my lower body yet.
Good Luck in your search....

Ruth

PS- FYI Dr Kreithen is a featured Plastic Surgeon on OH.
