Prices for Self-Payers (Dr. Overcash)

Just an FYI - I had an appointment with Dr. Overcash today and he told me that he and some other central FL bariatric surgeons (don't know exactly which ones) have announced new pricing for those who are self-paying:  virgin RNY = $12,500; Lap Band = $8500; and revisions $10,500

I'm awaiting insurance approval - but I just thought I'd pass along what I was told.  I guess they are trying to capture some of the patients who are going to Mexico b/c of pricing.
