Is it me....

or has OH jus forgot about having Florida in one of there conferences?? Seems like the past few years we get passed by??  I dont want to go to Atlanta but looks like I will have to  jsut to see some of my old friends.   Was just wondering about everyones thoughts on this ?

Didn't they have one scheduled last year and then canceled it.  I have never been able to get one of these because of the scheduling but one day maybe I will make it.

Yes, they had one scheduled last year and cancelled it.
OH has to get "sponsors" to pay for the conference.  
Sponsors--read DOCTORS and vendors that will put up the money for the venue.  
When there aren't enough surgeons etc to put up funding, OH won't dig in their own pocket to "put out" for a conference.
Face it.
OH is about $$$$$.

I have sent numerous emails to the event dept asking for a conference in FL, and even offered to produce it, as that is our business (trade show production).

Never got a response.

You are right. Last year Dr. Shuster agreed to sponsor the Florida event and then OH canceled it. It was fun when we had them here.
