There is no one better for the band than dr. Grossbard--he has one himself!

He is one of the best surgeons in the state of Florida regarding the band.  He is one of the surgeons that goes from clinic-to-clinic (state-to-state) to teach surgeons how to do the surgery.  When I got my band, he was the one procotring my surgery..  Sadly I had band complications and now have the RNY... but he is very knowledgable with the band.  Go to him (if I were in your shoes).
