Any one from P'cola

I am currently going through the process for rny and I am looking for local support and support in general.

I live in Navarre, and had my LapBand surgery done by Dr. Nye. I heard recently that Dr. Friedman is now working with Baptist and Dr. Nye.


I don't attend the support group at Baptist, but have heard they are great over there. . ..

Hi there!! I had my rny with Dr Nye, but I think your Dr works with mine.  I had my surgery done at Baptist.  They have a support group that meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month or something like that.  I have never been, but want to go to one.  Good luck with your surgery! It didn't take me long from my first appt til the day I had surgery, maybe 2 months.

I am planning to go to the group meeting ASAP! and will call there office first thing monday to get

things rolling.... 


 What were the requirement you had to meet for the doctor and for insurance??
