trying to understand the fills

I had a fill because I could only drink liquids, and had half the fill removed.  Now I feel like I have little to no restriction.  Before the "overfill" I felt more restriction.  Does the band shift?  Could the fluid be in the lead to the band, rather than the band?  This is so weird...

  When you get a fill the band can shift with your body's movement or the saline in the band sometimes can sit differently. Also, after a fill as I am sure you have noticed the band will feel tighter for a few days then tends to losen up some. It's a mystery but, I guess comes with the territory of working with a liquid.
