Im here...this forum is not too active...wish more would post and have get togethers...I missed the last one that I was so excited about due to medical complications :(

The Florida message board in general is slow. It is hard to find support, but even harder to find people who are rocking their tools who want to do things together. I am not southern Floridian per se, I live up in Melbourne Beach, but I would be willing to travel if we all decided on something really great to celebrate our tools, and thank those who have been there through the process.

Hi, I live in Palmetto Bay. I had bypass surgery on 9/25 and have lost 48 lbs so far.
I'm kind of stuck now and not loosing as much as I was in the beginning so I'm a bit nervous about that.
Anyone else have this problem?

HI, I'm Kathi.  I live in Pompano Beach.  Had RNY 10/31/08.  Am doing well (not losing as fast as I had expected, but oh well).  I am not having any problems except that I cannot walk (like I have been doing for exercise) because I fell down yesterday and twisted one of my bad knees.

I would like a get together, if I don't have to drive TOO far.
