tricare providers near Orlando

 I had my first appointmnet on Friday with Dr Jawad. I am having Laoband surgery. I am wondering if any of you out there know of Tricare Providers for Psych eval and nutrition evals?Thanks.

You can call Tricare and they will give you the names of providers who accept Tricare.  Back when I had surgery over two years ago Tricare did not cover the nutritional consult.  But I had tricare standard and that may make a difference.

I just had surgery on the 8th. Tricare doesn't cover the Nut eval. Dr. Ricardo Ysern on Semoran Blvd is who I did my Psych with. He was very nice. I just talked to him about why I wanted the surgery and knew it was a tool to better health. He said he didn't see any problems and I knew the risks of the surgery. So He approved that part, after that you come back and take a questionnaire with another psych. If no problems show up on that portion then everything is faxed to Dr. Jawad's Office. I had all my requirements done and was approved by Tricare in 2wks.  Good Luck. Also the one listed in the packet is Tricare approved. He was out of town when I was doing my pre reqs so that's why I went to Dr. Ysern.
