Hi Everyone!

My name is Cathi and I am the program director for Commonwealth Bariatric Center in Somerset, KY. I am very pleased to announce that we offer one of the most experienced bariatric surgery teams in Kentucky and surrounding states. Our surgeon and certified bariatric nurse have 19 years combined experience in the speciality of bariatric surgery.

Commonwealth Bariatric Center is a hospital based, comprehensive program offering dietary consults, psychological examinations, consult with a physical therapist, education classes by a certified bariatric nurse, support group meetings and internet support group, led by the professional bariatric clinical team. Our insurance specialist and practice manger for Dr. Husted is Ellen Bell who has many years experience in bariatric insurance approvals.

Cathi, WHY would those in Florida travel to KY. for your Surgeon when we have Specialist right in our own backyards? Plus the Travel Expenses?

Why are you hassling her for this post.  I can understand why she posted it.  Because qualified revision surgeons are pretty rare (at least in the DS world).  Yes, we now have Dr. Gagner in Florida but sometimes people need a second opinion.  Personally, I traveled to Omaha Nebraska to have the DS and would do so again in a heartbeat.  A lot of people travel to have surgery so that is not a big deal.  Some of us are actually willing to go further than around the corner to find a really good, top notch surgeon and not just settle for someone who is convenient.

This surgeon just relocated to Ky so I consider this more of an update than an advertisement.  I have seen far more blatant ads and no one gets upset.  The life coaches are a good example of that as well as others. 

Oh and I just checked Dr. Husted is officially registered with OH -- which means he paid the fee.
