New Here

I think I may have intro'ed here a few months ago, but I'm not sure. I'm Cyndy and I live in Gainesville.  I work at Shands @ UF and will be having RNY surgery there.  I have had my initial consult, bloodwork, and EKG.  I'm waiting on a few more tests, then hopefully insurance approval and a date!! I'm happily married, between the two of us we have four kids.  We are active in dog rescue and foster for DARE Dacshund Rescue.  I can't WAIT to have this surgery and have more energy for all this stuff!!! I look forward to getting to know  y'all!

Hi- my name is Lisa and I also live in Gainesville and work at  UF. I'm scheduled for lap band surgery next Monday the 19th. Dr. Ben-David will be doing the surgery. Insurance approval with Blue Cross took about 3-4 weeks. No problem @ all. Will Dr. Cendan be doing your surgery? He's awesome. Hope all goes well for you and I wish you good luck!!  

Dr. Ben-David will be doing my surgery too!  I really like him, he is very down-to-earth.  And cute too.  LOL  I have BCBS too so that is encouraging!  Good luck to you as well.

HI and welcome!!  Off - topic but do you have or rescued any bulldogs (unspayed)? I have a friend who is looking for bulldog and is willing to pay shipping to Puerto Rico where he lives. If you don't that's okay...Best of luck to you. Shands is an AWESOME hospital...had a liver biopsy once and the experience was great.

I do not have or know of any bulldogs available-sorry!
