Update on WendyGail

She went in for her surgery this morning, but they ended up not being able to complete it.  Her surgeon had to fix something related to her bowel (some kind of obstruction from a previous surgery's scar tissue?) that nobody was aware of before they went into surgery.  I haven't spoken directly to her, but I did speak with her mom twice today.  I'm sure she's disappointed, but hopefully will find comfort in the fact that the surgeon felt the repair was necessary, and apparently they'll go in and do the bypass in 4-6 weeks.   I know she'd appreciate any words of encouragement or support that you can give her.   God bless you all, Stephanie

I am so sorry that your WLS was postponed. The good news is that your surgeon fixed something that could have given you problems down the road. Hang in there, you'll be having the WLS before you know it. Hope you're feeling better soon...........................Pat
