Orlando Lap Band Information Session -- Oct. 18
If you're looking for information on lap bands or gastric banding, ORMC is hosting an information sessions at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 18. The session will feature Darryl Weir, MD, who will talk about adjustable lap bands, as well as nutritionists who will discuss lifestyle changes that accompany gastric banding, social workers who'll explore emotional challenges, and patient business representatives who'll cover costs for the procedure as well as steps needed to seek insurance reimbursement. The session begins at 6:30 p.m. in ORMC's Multipurpose Room A, 1414 Kuhl Ave., Orlando. Complimentary parking is available for those *****gister in advance.
