Tricare Prime "Technical Denial"???what is that???

Super sad today...Clld. Tricare & they said it was a "Technical Denial"....and only Dr. Jawads office could call and find out why being that they submitted the request for surgery.  So also to make it even better, the girl that does this @ the docs office is out until Monday! Has anyone gone thru this???? Thank you

The entire package probably didn't fax correctly or a page is missing. Probably FAX machine (technology) or administrative error. By replying that way they are not denying you -- just the mechanics of the submission for approval.

I have never heard of a case where the insured could not gain access to their own insurance information through the company - definitely strange. I'll ask our insurance goddess at work tomorrow and see if she has run across this.
