Panama city surgeons

Howdy, I am looking for a bariatric surgeon in panama city who does surgery at Bay Medical Center. Any word of mouth or personal referances? I'm looking to have lap RNY, but am open to suggestions. Also, since I'm new to the area (finishing off my first month here) are there any support groups, chat rooms or just someone looking for a friend up here?

Hi I don't post here often, I usually stay on the VSG forum, but I live near you in Walton county.  Don't think there's any bariatric surgeons in PC.  You'll probably have to go to Dr Lord in Pensacola at Sacred Heart if you want RNY.  He has lots of happy patients.   I decided RNY wasn't for me and went for the VSG.  I was self pay and went to Dr Hargroder in Baton Rouge.  He's awesome and I'm so happy with my sleeve. I do recall there are some bariatric surgeons in PC because I called, but I dont know much about them.  I opted for Dr. Lord in P'cola.  He's awesome and knows his stuff.  I live about 45 mins from you, just north of Destin.  Let me know if you have any questions.  Wish I could be more help.
