Just updating you that I had my silastic ring removed yesterday without any complications. Although it did take an hour longer than the 15 mins it should have taken, but all is ok. Now let's hope my stomach pains go away. I also have question, has anyone heard of a liquid iron called Flordix? I have been told that it is very gentle on the stomach with no constipation and absorbs well, so if there'a anyone out there who knows or has taken it, please let me know. Thanks

I WAS EXPERIENCING SHARP PAINS IN MY STOMACH AFTER EATING AND DRINKING, SO I HAD AN ENDOSCOPY AND THEY FOUND THAT THE SILASTIC RING HAD ERODED INTO THE INTESTINE CAUSING IT TO ULCERATE, SO IT HAD TO BE REMOVED, LUCKILY IT WASNT DANGEROUS AND EVERYTHING SHOULD BE FINE NOW. IT WAS REMOVED VIA ENDOSCOPY. WHERE ARE U MOVING FROM AND ARE U READY FOR THE HORRIBLE FLORIDA HEAT??

WE liVE in northern California now and it is undeathly hot here in summer too, though not as humid as in Fla. As long as I have AC and/or a pool or the ocean, I should be fine. We plan to get out there for a visit and check out the area. My bf thinks financially it will be better for us. You know California is soooooo very expensive, too rich for my blood. I am originally from the midwest (Michigan and Kentucky). Where is Weston, was it?

A lot of where we live depends on bf's job. He wants to transfer to the Securitas Security company out that way. We were trying to pick an area where generally hurricanes don't come by, if you know what I mean. I checked out Jacksonville and Cocoa and both seemed pretty nice and decent. It sounds like you think living further south is better.  you said West of Ft. Lauderdale? I thought Ft. Lauderdale was on the water as it is, nothing west but more water, NO?

As far as pic flashing, my daughter does all that and I have no idea how to do it. I am not computer savy by any means.

Great. Have you always lived in that area? What is it like? Do you live by the water? We are thinking of coming there for a visit first and see how it is. Send me your email address and if you want a phone number. I will contact you when we know we are coming.

Joann - Im glad that you're doing better and on the road to recovery - AT LEAST you know what caused your stomach pains!! I've been having some gastric or intestinal pains that feel like I'm being stabbed and I get nauseated with vomiting foam (sorry to graphic), sweaty, clammy and feeling faint. It last at the most for an hr and it's happened almost at a month's time from the one episode to the next and no one can figure what it is. I've had 3 ER visits and 2 911 calls and one of the visits I had a CT and had the pains happen in the hospital and they did nothing. And the find "nothing' but the pain is SOMETHING! It leaves me hyperventilating and out of breath..but Overcash did my surgery and doesn't use a ring or anything in there so I don't know what the heck is going on, nor does he. We're just all puzzled and don't even know what sets it off. If anyone reads this post and can hazard a guess I'd like to hear it!! I wanted to ask..now that they took the ring off...will they put another or you will not a ring anymore for good??? Hugs, Ruthy
