DR. IN CLEARWATER FL. THAT TAKES MEDICAID

I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW FOR MY FRIEND IF THERE IS A DOCTOR IN CLEARWATER AREA THAT TAKES MEDICAID, TO DO LAP BAND, MY SURGEON MOVED TO COLRADO. THANK YOU FRAN

I'm not sure what their insurance practices are, but I can personally recommend my surgeon, Dr. Richard Gordon or his partner, Dr. John Paul Gonzalvo, and Dr. Ted Small as well.  Gordon and Gonzalvo are in practice together and are located in Largo, and Dr. Small is located in the Medical Arts Bldg. at Mease Countryside.  You'd have to check with their offices though to see about Medicaid.  Best of luck to you!   ~ Terri

I hope you find success with Dr. Small.  He is highly regarded amongst his patients and his peers.  If his office doesn't accept Medicaid, I'm pretty sure there are others further south in Pinellas that might.

US Bariatric Orlando has an agreement with UHC's Medicaid product.

As of about 4 months ago Drs. Gordon and Gonsalvo were accepting the Stay Well Medicaid Product but no other medicaid products or plans.  That may have changed though so I would call them once more and ask specifically about the medicaid product that your friend has.   Good Luck! Kat
