things have changed here...help

I figured out how to change my avatar..but how do i change my pic on my profile?  I know how to add pics but that avatar on my profile needs to be changed.  Also do we still have to send in before and after pics?  I need to change mine. Tracey

To change your avatar -- look on the left side of the page where it says Welcome Tracey R, under that you will see "user settings".  Click on that and you will go to a page where you can upload a avatar and/or add a signature block.  Just be sure that your avatar is sized correctly.  You no longer have to load your picture in picturebucket or whatever before uploading to this site.  Just select browse and you can upload the picture from your hard drive. Its so good to see you are doing great Tracey!  So excited about the job, nursing program and moving back into your house, woo-hoo!  We are doing lots of updates on ours, getting in new doors french to replace the slider in back, and a nice glass one in front! You look beautiful and it sounds like you are taking care of yourself.  You know what to do, don't forget your vitamins, and if your body is happy at this weight, so be it! I'm doing good , averaging at 123.  Working out at martial arts for health and fitness on 436 near 434 and just love it.  Toning, endurance, and self defense.  I need classes to hold me accountable. Thanks Tami!!! We all need to get together sometime and have a  meet and greet or something. I was loving my job...  Booking reservations was fun but with it being timeshare promotions it started to get to me.  Sales would promise people things which weren't true and then I got yelled at and threatened over and over.  The office wasn't organized and I was trying to ignore it and work harder and harder.  I cut my hours when the kids got out of school due to Jesse needing to go to summer school and my mom having a new position at Homedepot Supply.  I finally cracked about a week ago when my general manager was yelling at people for having chairs the wrong way and I am on the phone getting yelled at cuz sales said this and that.  I walked out.  I am back to being a at home mom til the summer is over...kids, house and mom need me more. I am excited about starting school in January...early enrollment due to awesome grades.  I am doing great with the vits...I take good care of myself.  Well as good as I can...while doing yard work yesterday, I stepped on a peice of metal..it only was a smallish slice in my foot, little blood.  About 10pm I noticed the red streaks going up my foot up to my ankle.  I had a nice ER visit, tentnus shot, and antibotics in the butt, glad I noticed it when I did, cuz at the ER the streak moved another inch up my leg. I am about 135-140 right now...size 5 still.  My pants got a little tight last week and now are loose again.  I am eating more carbs now, to keep my weight from dropping below 130...at 5'9 I don't look good that way.  Now that I am running around doing errands and house stuff, have remember to eat.  My son does black belt training over in that area, near Wood You. My mom is doing great with her new knee...when I go out with my friends she goes with me, they love her. We are doing house stuff again...demo'd the living room and family room yesterday.  We are making a media room and putting tile in the family room. I hope we can see each other soon.  And thanks for the compliments...you look great too!!! Big Hugs! Tracey

The martial arts place I go to is in the same plaza as Wood You, I wonder if it is the same place. Glad your foot is ok, the red streaks ...ow, not good! Well enjoy the summer.  I need to get together with everyone, we were talking about this on another post.  Perhaps in August?  I will work on this, before school starts and life gets away from us. hugs to you girlfriend, you  are special! Yeah same place..Jesse goes Monday, Tuesday, Thursday nights and Saturdays mornings with my ex husband. August is good..going to go back to work then since Kate is starting school...my baby is growing up. Talk to you sooon...and you know how special you are to me. Tracey

Hi Tracey! Glad to hear from you and that your life is going so well.  Don't be such a stranger around here!! I just can't seem to stay out of the OR  (LOL).  I'm still rehab-ing from knee & shoulder surgery in April but I know that it will take months to fully recover my range of motion in the shoulder.  I'm scheduled to have BL/BA revision surgery in July since I developed Capsular Contracture.    I'm praying that will be the last surgery I have for many, many years!!  I'm tired of always being in "recovery" mode & ready to get back to being more active again. Oh Vickie...I am soo sorry to hear about your issues right now.  Keep your chin up, it will get better...I have learned this from experience! I always think of you and hope someday we can see each other again. Take care of yourself and keep us posted....I do check the boards more often now.
