knee surgery in 6 hours

I'm heading to the orthopedic surgery center in a few hours for knee surgery. Just one more thing I can thank Morbid Obesity for - knee damage from carrying around all those extra pounds for too many years. I've been through this surgery before, 5 years ago, and it wasn't bad. But since I had complications with my last 2 surgeries, I'm a bit nervous. Ya'll say a prayer that all goes well, no hematomas or other complications and that I am finally free from this cronic pain. Guess I'd better try to get a couple hours sleep. Vickie J.

I do hope you are ride of your chonic pain real soon. I too am having difficulties with chronic knee pain from obesity prior to WLS and doin't know what to do? What kind of surgery did you have to aleviate your discomfort? Liz
