I've got my date 4/11 only 2 weeks away

So, I've got my date of 4/11 with Dr. Overcash, are there any other 4/11 people out there who will be at Munroe? I don't sit or lay still very well and will need to keep myself occupied. I'm very nervous, but I guess that's normal. Oh, does anyone have a list of what I should bring or suggestions of making it easier. I understand I won't be able to eat or drink for a few days, I think that will be hard. Thanks Josie

Hello Josie, I had my surgery with Overcash 4 months ago. Bring: comfy clothes, I wore the same ones home I arrived in toothbrush/paste, brush, deoderent, little bottle of shampoo/cond. chap stick I was so out of it I didnt read or watch tv. You will be sleeping & walking Wednesday evening & until you go home on Friday, they will push you to walk, even if you dont feel like it...LOL I remember some not so nice words I said to the guy nurse when I wanted to sleep & he had other plans...hehehe Yes it was hard to not drin****il Friday, right before you go home. I didn't even think about eating..but it was very hard to not be able to drink, I wanted ice chips SOOO bad. My mouth was sooo dry & all you can do is swap with a sponge thingee.
