Can't make it to Orlando Conference

I won't be able to make it to the OH Conference in May and I'm so disappointed! I've enjoyed the conferences the past 2 years and was really looking forward to seeing some of my OH buddies in Orlando but it is not to be. I'm having knee surgery on April 2nd and shoulder surgery April 19 so I'm not going to be recovered enough to travel by May 5th. Those of you that are going have a wonderful and think of me! I'll certainly be thinking of you & wishing I were in Orlando with you!! Vickie J.

OH Vickie, get a wheel chair and we'll push you around! Or borrow an electric one. As you'll not want to miss the "Meet & Greet" up on the 9th floor outdoor "Moon Terrace" Which I'm planning on having a select Buffet of Hot Protein Selections. I saw it today and it's a beauty. What a view and viewing of both Universal's & Disney's Fireworks shortly after 9 PM. Just bring extra pain pills...........LOL. Mike

Mike, do you know if there is anything planned for Saturday night? Just so i know how to plan my weekend. I wont be up there till late Friday night, coming in from South FL, so I'll miss the meet & greet. Take care.

I was wondering about that too. I am not attending the conference, but I am in the area...would love to see old friends and meet some new people. I am working Friday night, but I am off that weekend. Tracey

Tracey it's only one Friday evening, you can't take it off? We'll have the Rooftop venue from 6PM till 10PM but itll start breaking up at about 930PM shortly after the distant fireworks. But I'm sure the partying will continue over at the Best Western across International Dr. where many as I'll be staying. It's much cheaper than the Castle. But other will also be staying at the Castle too.

I wish I could...but I love working. I work til 11 pm approx...maybe I will put in extra hours that week and get off earlier and head down. Send me a private e-mail with a # so I can call if I get off earlier. Tracey

I can't meet up with everyone either...I actually have to work Friday night. I will be thinking about you for sure. My mom just had knee replacement surgery and is off the charts with how fast she is recovering. I hope you have the same success as she did. Tracey

Tracey, Thanks for the well wishes. I hope I do as well as your mom!! I've had surgery on this knee before so I sort of know what I'm in for, but I'm hearing lots of horror stories about the shoulder surgery so I'm really dreading that one. Oh well, it needs to be repaired so I may as well get it over with! Hopefully next year we'll both be able to make it to the conference! Vickie J.

Hi Vickie, I just wanted to wish you good luck with both of your upcoming surgeries. I will be saying a prayer for you. I won't be at this years conference either as I am having a total knee replacement on April 17th. So I won't be mobile this year. Hopefully I will get to go to one next year. Take Care, Patty
