Anyone taking Byetta?

Well, keep up the great work you're doing. It's not easy.... so I admire you for that. Well, I wanted to have the wls but it is excluded from my ins policy. My doctor told me since I'm losing weight on my own and doing it rather quickly, that he was going to pull me out once I lost an extra 40 lbs. My problem is that i lose weight fast and gained them back fast so he has me in a high protein/low carb diet and exercising daily. Plus, the meds he's giving me is helping me alot. I've been thin all my life but once i reached my 30's i changed and let myself go. I miss been thin believe it or not. I was more active and lived a healthier life. At the beginning of my treatment my doctor recommended the wls but he realized that the way I'm losing this weight that he didn't think i needed it after all. We just have to discipline ourselves and adjust to the new life. I wish you well in your progress and keep me informed about your health. Lol......Andrea
