I really understand how you feel. However, is she willing to have surgery? Is she willing to change her lifestyle, with help? I too have BCBS of FL and they were useless,,,my coverage anyway. I opted for the LAP-BAND. I am very happy with this less invasive procedure, and because my little girl was 7 also (and my baby, only 3,,,single parent), I wasn't willing to be that 1 in 100 that might have life threatning complications. That being said, I have had to work at changing habbits, and following the rules of the band. I have lost 70 pounds in 6 months, and finally broke the 300 dreds!!!! All the different WLS options have their own forum here. Reasearch all you can. You will find the perfect procedure for you ( your daughter).
