Anyone have a "Hookup" For Miami Hotel?

Me and Lee and another couple, are coming to Miami/Ft Lauderdale on Feb 9th. We are going on a cruise to Jamaica departing Feb 11th. We wanted to check out Miami for 2 days prior. It's a good thing we are not gonna be there for Superbowl weekend cuz we'd be "$h_t out of luck! We need 2 nights Friday night and Saturday night. Also, is there anything that we just shouldnt miss while visiting Miami? We also wanna do some karaoke........and good karaoke bars you can recommend?? We are sooooo excited 10 more days!!!! Nadine

Of course, if it were me, I'd HAVE to go visit the BariatricEating store in Pompano Beach! How on earth could you be that close and not visit there and get some protein for your cruise!!!

Cuz I get allllll my protein from food. I have NEVER done any protein supplements except for the first month or so right after surgery. I have however purchased vitamins from them. Are they cheaper if you visit them in person or via the net??? Nadine

Sorry, I've lived here for almost 3 years...but I'm quite boring as for the night life....I guess suggest since you will be in the Ft. L area going to the Hollywood Hardrock Hotel and Casino they have a nice club area and I'm sure one of them would have karoke. To stay there is kinda steep...but it is nice.... Sarah

I'm not a party person but do live in Miami. If you want the flavor of the city I would suggest South Beach (relunctantly), Coconut Grove (artsy) Bal Harbor ($$$$), Coral Gables (quaint). Enjoy your cruise...I love to cruise!...had my hair braided once in Jamaica (ouch!) Have a blessed and sunny day!
