Healthease

Hi I need help in Florida. My pcp has recommended that I have bypass surgey and says for me to find a doctor in Florida to accept my insurance and he will send in all the paperwork for me. The problem is I cannot find a doctor to accept healthease a form of medicaid. Has anyone heard of a doctor that will accept healthease or any form of medicaid like medipass or ameri group. Please help Thanks in advance Shannon

Sorry my surgeon just recently stopped taking any form of Medicaid as their not paying the bills. But Dr.Rehnke IS still taking Medicare and the Insurance companies Managing Medicare patients.

US Bariatric in Orlando is in the final stages of negotiating with UHC's Medicaid program. And since Florida Hospital views it as UHC, they'll accept is as well. HTH, Kristen
