Steve- I know there are people who post on the board who have had surgery paid for by Voc Rehab and I will try to remember some names. But if you do not get a response to your post -- wait a couple of days and repost. I know they are out there. There is an insurance section here where you can look up the type of insurance you have to see who else was funded by the plan. Then you can click on their name which will take you to their profile page so you can send them an email. Just look to the left of the screen and on the blue section click on "Insurers" Good luck and hang tough. Voc Rehab from what I understand has many hoops they want you to jump through -- but they will pay for the surgery if you meet the criteria. Red

Steve- Use the link below to go to the Florida Insurance page and then click on "V" for vocational rehab and and there are a couple of listings under "F" for Florida Depart of Voc rehab. You may have to scroll through a lot of listings and some are a couple of years old but they are there. Red http://www.obesityhelp.com/morbidobesity/bariatric+surgery+insurers+in+florida.html

Steve, I had my surgery 5/13/2005 voc rehab did pay for some surgery costs as long as I could prove it wouldn't be covered by my other insurance. My profile says alot of the process I went through as well as the headaches it is not a fast process or an easy one. Any questions feel free to contact me. Linda R
