OH Kim so glad you responded. Yes Im taking iron, its the highlight of my night its so good. Its chewable passion fruit. Yes Im still gassy and yes Im drinking so much I could you know what from all the fluid. Its making me sick. Im not eating much. Tonight I had baby food chicken with salt and pepper and some jello and yogurt that I make together 1 cup ho****er, disolve jello and add 1 cup NF plain yogurt instead of cold water and mix with wisk. Makes 4 4oz serv 2 oz jello 2 oz yogurt and a great texture. Right now Im hooked on black cherry. Im saving that for 8pm. I hope I didnt go through all this for nothing. Im still bloated and I still hurt and Im still taking pain meds at least once a day. Im weepy and I want my bed. I make myself get up and go. Oh how I wish.LOL.I still have the g tube and I want it out now. That cleaning and dressing it 3x a day is getting bothersome. other than that I feel great . Good morning, Carole! Ok, I checked my resource manual and it says that the surgery will regulate insulin in 80 to 90% of the patients. That's good news I KNOW you will have no problem loosing weight, and you did not go through all this for nothing. Also, there are alot of hormone fluxuations due to both the surgery and the anesthesia. Just ride it out. If you feel like venting and crying, go for it. There are a lot of emotions coming to the surface now, especially with the food issue. I felt the same way when I quit smoking. Crying, anger, etc. Like I lost my best friend But, the end result will be so much better for us! The yogurt and jello sounds yummy...thannks for the recipe! Also, keep up the the pain pills as long as there is pain. That's what they're there for! Keep in touch, you're on the right track and doing great!!! Kim
