Hi Renee, As you know, vomiting is not normal. You may want to insist on an endoscopy, also ask about being put on something like Carafate. When you vomit, you are irritating your pouch and esophagus. So your opening gets smaller with the swelling. So you vomit again, and swell some more. Carafate heals your pouch and esophagus from the inside and stops the vomitng cycle. Hang in there. It gets better, I promise! Kristen
