omg im almost 30

ok so i was sitting at work eating a lean quisne and watching judge judy... and this girl sits next to me... and shes 30... i thought omg im almost 30.... ok so i know this is completely crazy thinking since im ten years away from being 30... but i cant get it off my mind..... 65 days till body lift... yay

Oh heck I'm 44 and let me tell you - it's great!!! When I turned 40 I said I'd rather be 40 than 20 and life just gets better and better each year!! You know what hit me though when I turned 40? I realized that my niece, my sweet little niece was turning 30!!! THAT floored me! All I know is, time flies and the years really go by so quickly, we just need to enjoy each day and cherish everything we have and everyone in our lives. I also think we, as gastric bypass patients, view our lives a little differently than the "average Joe". We have been through a lot physically and emotionally and I think we look at things just a little differently. Anyways, I think it's good to look at your life now, what ever your age is, and then look ahead. If you don't, next thing you know many years pass you by and you don't remember enough of it. I'm happy for you that you are going to school and working - that's a lot to be proud of - you go girl!!!!!!!!!! And good luck in 65 days on your body lift! i think your right..about looking at things differently... i dont let things bother me anymore.. and take 1 day at a time... i was jus****ching the news... this lady is 112 today... yikes
