Well, I over did it on Saturday and my right knee has not forgiven me yet. I will have to adjust my workouts this week so I don't aggravate it more.

Mon- Walked 6 miles, bike ride 3.5 mile bike ride

Tues- Walk 5 miles and modified gym workout

Wed- Walk 6 miles and I teach dog training classes that night so no bike ride.

Thurs- Walk 6 miles and modified gym workout

Friday- Walk 5 miles, 5 mile bike ride

Sat- Walk 5 miles, weight training at the gym

Sun- Walk 7 miles and relax!

I see my regular doctor in two weeks and will have him look at if it's still bothering me. I had three knee surgeries back about 15 years ago and I have to be careful with it.

Edit-change in plans or what actually happened..

I had a good resting week last week after my half marathon and now it's time to get back to it. I've got a 5k on the 20th and a 10k on the 28th to prepare for!

Monday - intermediate pilates mat class (woah, that's a great and challenging class!)

Tuesday - nothing formal planned, since I'm spending the day in the library at my partner's workplace as I came into work with him to make getting to an evening concert easier. I imagine I'll do a lot of walking.

Wednesday - pilates class. I want to get back to my yoga class that follows the pilates class, but I don't think this is the week for that to happen due to the assignments I have due on Sunday.

Thursday - running!! yoga stretching

Friday - my zenga class has been renamed to reflect what it actually is, so now it's MFR class.

Saturday - parkrun (free worldwide weekly timed 5k)

Sunday - yoga at home

I am still grounded from exercising. I see the doctor tomorrow but i can't even walk around the block without pain. Once i know if my elbow is chipped or not i will try and do some things with the arms and see if i can swim using my arms only. I am going nuts not being able to work out. don't miss work but miss my clients.

Ha! Unfortunately I am very directionally challenged when I run. I would be lost before I even started a race like that.

My next big race is Bandera 100k in January. I'll probably be doing some smaller races between now and then. I have the Deadman Peaks trail marathon in November that I'm looking forward to, but it will be a slower training run rather than a full blow race effort.

Menopausal woman, multiple layers of gear. The amount of sweat is staggering. Seriously. During an average tournament I will fence 6 pool bouts and then a couple of elimination bouts. Usually over about 2.5-3 hours. I will drink 2-3 quarts of gatorade type stuff (I use Hydrate from Ucan) and not have to pee. Then i will drink another quart of fluid on the way home and about 30 minutes into the drive I'll finally have to pee. Seriously - even during practice. It's brutal, but I love it.

Keep on losing!
