Thanks I am truly listening to the body. I love getting into the pool and doing some exercise. I was able to do some core at the same time as doing some physio. Felt good

For the marathon coming up? Under 6 hours would be fine with me. It's a trail marathon with just over 3,000 ft of climbing. If I was really racing it hard, I might want to be closer to 5 hours, but I really don't like running all that fast.

Sorry you are still on the disabled list, @highlandbear! Listen to your body and let it heal.

Another week, another tournament - last week was a "rest" from competition week.

Sunday - Abs and arms 1 hour

Monday - Fence 3 hours

Tuesday - Crossfit class and an hour of agility work prior to class

Wednesday - Fence 2.5 hours

Thursday - Crossfit 1 hour - maybe some training

Friday - Pilates 1 hour

Saturday - Crossfit and stretching

Next Sunday - tournament day - small event but looking forward to it.

Keep on losing!

Well I am still off of work this coming week. This race has become a very expensive race for me but to be honest I was starting to burn out at my job and I have not a week off in over 6 years so i am not feeling guilty. For the first time I am looking after myself and allowing the body to heal. I now have permission from the doctor to get in the pool and try and do some physio on myself

Monday 35 of pool

Tue walk

wed pool

thursday walk

Friday pool

saturday rest lol that is what i am doing most days

Sunday depending how i feel and the body is moving hoping to try for a very light 20 minute run just to see how my handles it. I have to wait and see what the pain level is.

I ended up getting the 1750 treadmill for NordicTrack, it has been great for us so far and helped us get our workouts in every day!

Yes and no... I walk everyday regardless of what's going on. Normally I take either Saturday or Sunday off from the gym. I list both days because I try to hit it on Saturday but I don't always make it. If I don't make it Saturday, I make it a priority for Sunday. That's why I normally come back and edit my post for the week, life happens.

My bike riding is very relaxed right now, just getting the hang of it and doing PT for my knee. It takes me about 20 minutes to ride 3 miles, so it's a nice, relaxed paced and I don't really count it as working out. My doctor recommended lite biking to see if it helped.

I only do weight training 3 times a week, everything else is cardio.
