I'm registered for my first Barre class on December 17 (since that's my first week of vacation). I'm excited to try it out, even though I can't really afford the time it takes to do it on a regular basis!

Monday strength training

Tue will be rest

Wed master swim

Thursday rest

Friday Barre class

Saturday rest

Sunday hour run if the body allows if not will do what the body will let me

Lots of rest days for me but I am truly letting myself heal. I still can not lay on back without the tailbone hurting. My legs are tight when i run so I am hoping the rests will help heal so i can back into things strong. Plus i have been following schedules for so long I like not having one for a few months and doing what ever i want

When is your race again. This is not looking much like a taper. During taper you should not be worried about a tempo run. I would take Thursday run out or make it an hour easy

Weather has definitely gotten cold. We ran at 4 am Sunday morning and it was 27 degrees at the start. Brrrrr

Completed my last "long run" on Sunday and now its time to taper and prepare mentally for the marathon. I believe I have a good plan in place, nutrition, water, salt etc. Now its just time to see if my plan works.

Monday-Planned day of rest

Tuesday-6 miles (almost negative splits)-10:06 pace, 1 hour and 1 minute..controlled and steady run

Wednesday-Swim 1000 yards (work with swim coach) ...30 minutes

Thursday-Only going to run 6 miles---9:34 pace, 58:08..28 degrees at the start..only 4 of us showed up today

Friday-Swam, but not 1 mile..used the kick board a lot today..basically swam for an hour but not for distance

Saturday-going to a race to help out. I think I'm working the registration

Sunday-Run 12 miles

Height=5"4' Age=49 RNY=04/17/2015

HW=285, CW=205, LW=197, GW=195

My exercise motto-Further or faster!!!

I don't see my trainer every time I'm at the gym. I see my trainer 2x a month. But, long story short, while the number in my profile doesn't tell the whole story, I'm down 150 pounds. Every penny I spend on working out and my health is more than worth it.

Keep on losing!

That's true... I guess waiting would be giving myself the chance to fail, I can't allow myself to fail.
