Started my last 100 Day Challenge today!
Still struggling with a goal weight. I know I should have one by now and I'm going to talk to my phycologists this week and get that done.
Monday- Over 5.5 miles, 96 oz of water, under carbs for the day! Got nails done on 3/4 of the dogs.
Tuesday- Gym was great, walked over 5 miles, water was 128 oz, carbs under goal too!
Wednesday- Walking was grea****er at 96 oz, carbs a little over but good day!
Thursday- No out door walk this morning as it's 23*, did manage to get a 1.5 miles walk indoors, water going good and carbs below normal for this time of day. Hitting the gym tonight! Did great!
Friday- Snow storm hit but I managed to ge****er, steps, and under carbs for the day! Woot!
Saturday- Snowed in but managed to get over 9,000 steps which my snowed in amount is 8,000. Water in but not so great on the carbs...
Sunday- So close to 10,000 and on a snow day! We finally managed to get out for a run to the pharmacy. Carbs still not good but everything else was great!
Daily goals: Drink 96 oz of liquid/64oz of water minimum, Walk 12,000 steps on non-gym days/10,000 on gym days/snow days 8,000, eat under 75 carbs a day, work my own dogs

In Olympic fencing, there are three weapons - foil, sabre and epee. Foil and saber are "right of way" weapons - meaning you have to establish the right of attack before being awarded a point. In Epee, both fencers can score at the same time.
Foil is the lightest of the three weapons, weighing about 12 ounces and being about 40 inches long from end to end. Weight varies based upon type of grip you use. In foil, you may only score a point (a touch - e.g. touche) with the very tip of the weapon. It must depress to close an electrical circuit and cause a light on the scoring equipment. Target area is from neck to crotch - front and back - only. No arms, no head.
Sabre - weighs more, is slightly shorter and the entire weapon can be used to close the electrical circuit to score a point. Scoring area is head, arms, torso (front and back) to waist.
Epee - you must use the tip to score (like foil) but the entire body from head to toe is valid target.

He's bummed about the Half. He's glad he did it when he did. (He's ex-Navy). He's running MCM through Team in Training, which raises money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. He says come to Philly for the Rock and Roll Half here that weekend in September!

Is he running with a group for the MCM? Or just hoping to win the lottery?
I'll be doing the 10K at MCM :)

That at least gets me fencing through my next big nationals tournament in April - I really want to do at least 2 events a month going forward.
May isn't clear. June will be prep for Summer Nationals in Columbus which runs from the last Saturday in June through the First Saturday in July. August is my month off. September starts the new season.
If I earn my foil rating this year, I will also take up sabre.

Sadly my fall half marathon was just cancelled - it's been going on for at least a decade, but they decided it was no longer sustainable. RIP Navy Air Force Half Marathon. So now I'm debating what I'm going to do.
March - half marathon
October - 10k
October, 6 days later - 5k, but I can switch it for a second half marathon if I want to do a second one in the year... which I'd sort of like to do. Just not sure about the timing.
Plus weekly 5k races with parkrun about three weeks of every month.
