So the new fencing season has started. Fenced a small local event Sunday and while the final placements weren't what I had hoped, I was pleased with how I fenced in both events. Plus good fellowship with some good women.

Monday - Fencing lesson and fencing 3 hours.

Tuesday - Olympic lifting class

Wednesday - fencing

Thursday - Olympic Lifting class

Friday - Pack the car and play return the student to college Tetris.

Saturday - Get up at the crack of dawn, drive 4 hours, unload car, unload storage unit, sleep on floor of apartment of college student. Move furniture for college student

Sunday - Finish unpacking student and get back on road back to home.

HOpe everyone has a great week

One week of rehab in the books. Actually did 1 mile on a bike this morning at a snail pace obviously.

That is about as exciting as rehab gets. Same exercises daily, just trying to get some mobility back. This Friday I get my stitches removed and next Monday I get to lose my "blood clot" stockings so that's a win..lol

Fall will be approaching and that will be the hardest. Its the prime running season. It sucks having to sit on the sidelines but I know it wont last forever.

Knitter215 is correct. I asked my exercise counselor the same question and she said either would give you the same results. Since you want to keep your heart rate between 115-125 for weight loss it doesn't matter which one you do. I like to mix it up to keep from getting board.

Recumbent bike and treadmill both are good for the workout. You should check out both uses & benefits then take the decision which is better for the workout. You can get ideas from here.

For Treadmill Benefits of Treadmill & Recumbent Bike Recumbent Bike Workouts for Beginners. I hope those will be helped you a lot to make the decision. Thanks

Separately - here are my workouts for the week. I've just taken a part-time job at my health club at the front desk and boy are the member benefits well worth it - I'm saving a ton of money.

Sunday - recovery day

Monday - fencing lesson and class 3.5 hours

Tuesday - Crossfit/lifting class

Wednesday - Fencing 2 hours

Thursday - Personal Trainer 1 hour and cross fit

Friday - Pilates

Saturday - Cross fit/lifting

Have a small tournament next Sunday - the new fencing season is upon us and we're getting started.

Have a great week all!

Today will begin the healing process.

Heading to Nashville in a couple of hours and having surgery at 3 cst.

Hopefully, with rehab, I will be back to exercising by January is what the doctor said. Until then it looks like crutches for a couple of months.

Everyone keep grinding.

I will check in periodically
