1 more month of rehab and then we will see.
I have started on Tues and Thursday swimming and doing some resistance training in the pool.
Wednesday I am doing some weights for my legs as well as cycling and elliptical. Baby steps for everything.

Man its cold..
So, still able to just swim on Tues and Thursday as well as Monday and Friday PT. Even my swimming is not very much, just adding laps every time but not even close to my 1 mile benchmark yet.
I cant wait until they free me up and let me run.
Hope everyone is having a good week.

So I am finally doing SOMETHING...was taken off walking (like workout walking, if that makes sense) but I am allowed to swim and cycle. Of course, Im not cycling in 35 degree weather but I did start swimming yesterday. My arms and legs were not having it. I did only 10 laps and not very fast but just enough to get back in to it. Being mostly off from running and only swimming and cycling during the spring I have gained about 15 pounds which really scares the crap out of me.
I know I can lose again if my body would allow me to do what I can and want to do but I also know that I can't pu**** so it just really sucks right now.
But, I can at least start ramping up swimming more and hopefully I can get my weight back under control.

Sorry to miss this past week - my workout routine has been up-ended by life. Hoping to get back on the wagon in the next week or so.

Well, I cant even say rehab is going well this week because I am in jury duty all week...
So, I am just doing stretches at home that I would be doing there. I just dont have the machines or weights. But, I can do what i can.

Could you not protest at the time? Can or are you allowed to say anything to the refs?

My fencing wasn't my best, but the tournament started almost an hour late for no good reason. The referees were HORRIBLE - as in I lost three touches in a five touch bout because the ref confused who was the red light and who was the green light when we touched. They were single light touches - so only I could have scored and he gave the points to my opponent - enough that it cost me a win in a bout. The venue was too hot, the strips were too close together (as in we were afraid we were going to run into other fencers) and a bunch of other stuff.
What peeved me was I drove 2 hours, paid a crap ton in tolls, plus the tournament fee and it was worse than high school tournaments I've been to.
Rant over. I feel better now.

Glad the PT was able to help with the pain.
I fenced a ****show of a tournament on Sunday - I'm still pissed about it and it's Monday night. Too tired to work out today.
Tuesday - Lift and fencing lesson
Wednesday - Fencing 2 hours
Thursday - Lift
Friday - Yoga?
Saturday - Lift?
Sunday - Drive to DC and cheer on hubby who is running the Marine Corps Marathon. Drive home. It will be a long day. (He's taking the train down there on Friday.)
Hope everyone has a great week.
