Sorry, I am just seeing this! Do you mean the Free Strider? I've used one of them and I like it quite a bit. The elliptical isn't my favorite piece of cardio equipment but this one was nice that you were able to do three different variations of exercise (elliptical, treadmill, and stair stepper). I read a few reviews at this website and tested one out at a friend's house. I ultimately decided to get a treadmill but thought this machine was still awesome. Let me know if you have any follow up questions.

Christmas is getting close..my hip actually feels better today after getting it "needled" on Friday. If you have never had this, its like acupuncture but Im guessing not as intense. My PT sticks like 4 or 5 needles deep into the muscle. Im not really sure about the theory of why it works but she said somehow it changes the chemical compound of the muscle.

So, PT in Mon and Wed still. Swimming on Tues and Thurs and leg weights on Wednesday.

Hope everyone is having a great holiday season so far.

not sure what this week will look like the things i know for sure is Monday will be a swim, friday will be barre class and i want to get into the gym one day and a run in. If i get those in I will be Happy. Things have been rough no excuse. Work is causing so much stress and than the stress causes the PTSD. I have some holidays coming up very soon and hope to get much needed rest and do some me time and allow some healing

Hope everyone is doing well.

My wife and I walked the St Jude 5k this weekend. We actually beat our goal of under 1 hour. My hip was not really feeling well afterwards, which my PT said would happen but I had already signed up for it and I love the race.

My weight keeps creeping up and I dont feel like I can stop it. I want to do so much more but my hip just wont allow it. It such a dismal feeling. I swam 50 laps today and tomm I will work on elliptical and bike.

Oh, the Bariatric scariest week for me is the week of Thanksgiving..

So much food..and with this hip, my workouts are not as intense as I need them to be..but nevertheless, I have started incorporating Sunday gym time..

So, still Monday and Friday PT ****il Dec 20th) and Tues and Thurs pool and Wednesday and Sunday elliptical, spin bike and weights (for my legs)

Hopefully by early next year I will get released to run again.

And also, today is my birthday..yeaaaah 51..lol 12/02

I started working out on Wednesday using weights and Elliptical/Cycle bike as well as swimming Tuesday and Thursday.

My wife and I are walking in a 5k on December 7th. It was supposed to be a half marathon but due to injury, I switched it to a 5k.

I see the Doctor on December 3rd...but doubt he will give me any new news..but we will see

Has anyone used the flex strider? Supposedly it lets you do stairclimber, elliptical and treadmill all on the same equipment by simply changing your stride. I am also curious if anyone has any experience with their iFit coaching program/feedback on their graphics (they indicate that if you're doing the climber, they can make it seem like you're climbing the steps at the Acropolis or if you're doing the rower (which I'm also thinking about so if anyone has any feedback on rowers) they can make it seem like you're cruising the Thames. I am curious but skeptical.
