Stabilizing loose skin during exercise

Does anyone use anything during exercise to stabilize loose skin? My muffin toppish part of my abdomen is what's bugging me. During things like jumping jacks, frog jumps or planks it moves like a flag in the wind. Last night I held it in place and realized it made such a difference-- no continued movement after I stopped moving. And my core felt stronger too.

Would a standard spanx type top work? Or is there something more specific for exercise? Ideally I'm only looking to stabilize the area under my boobs to my navel. Navel to hip is not an issue- pants/undies keeps that from jiggling :-)

Ideas??

Compression gear from Under Armor is seriously my BFF.  However, it's hard to find high waisted stuff and I need it.  Sometimes I'll wear shape wear for that, but it doesn't always breathe well for exercising.  So.. yeah.

I've basically given up on jumping jacks until I've had plastics :P

I use a shapewear top, and sometimes bottoms.  Mostly I get away with just the top, and it doesn't cause as much overheating as the bottoms.

I've been wondering this too.  Not that I'm at the stage where I'm moving enough to make things jiggle....but I will be!

Maybe try something like THIS from Walmart. I like Flexees brand. It is a little more stretchy and comfortable than Spanx to me.

Spanx is now making workout stuff that holds the muffin top in.  Just got an email from them about it the other day -- check the web site.  For me, I have the arm flappies which there is no cure for - yet. Not til I get to goal and see the plastics guy.

Have you guys tried showering with 2 percent salicyic acid body wa**** turns the skin over like a kid's and in my experience noticeably firms the skin ( permanently) .

I also used to put 2percent salicylic acid face toner on my least favorite body parts after showering: I swear it helped with fat around the kneecaps inner thighs the tummy even double chin :)

Of course plastics are the most effective forever solution but not everyone wants them and we all deserve to look great in the meantime.

Too bad Sports Authority is gone because in that huge store full of athletic wear I could always find something flattering and comfortable.

I would look at Under Armour stuff particularly with your beautiful long-legged shape you may find the line was seemingly designed just to flatter you !

Yes it's expensive- but I've seen their own stores offer deep discounts. You get what you pay for - it feels great to look and feel amazing in your workout gear !

If you want to hold in stuff or not jiggle it helps to buy the smallest size you can stand . Obviously you don't want constriction around the chest.
