Nutrition question/fueling for a 1/2
I need some creative ideas and for some reason I'm stumped. Historically, I used gels or GU gummy bite things (whatever they are called). However, I cut out all added sugars from my diet and those supplements are full of sugar. What other alternative could I use? I will be mostly walking so I can nibble on something small along the way if I have to. I don't know - some kind of fruit?

Dried fruit? Granola (the homemade kind so you can control what's in it).

I like the idea of applesauce pouches - seems like it could work well. But dried fruit is probably easier.
