Zone Targeting for Fat Loss?
(Exercise noob here.) Can you force your body to burn fat from a specific area of your body by exercising that area more? For instance, if I do more abdominal exercises, will the fat loss come from my abdomen faster than from other areas of my body, or does my body take the fat from wherever it wants to take it from? TIA.
You can only target muscles, you can't target fat. The body will lose at the rate it wants to lose it & it takes it from where it wants to. Everyone is different but for me, the stomach fat is the last to go, & the fat around my face the first to go.

Progressive weight training is my secret weapon - I have low body fat (13% on the doctor's fancy scale, but I think that is lower than reality) and all the muscle burns more calories than fat does. It probably gives me a 100-200 calorie a day edge to fight regain. I still have saddlebag thighs - but very small compared to before.
